The Trip Summary:
If you haven't read our "Week in Korea" blogs, read those first. Everybody in the band contributed in telling the story of our trip, except for the last segment. We played four concerts, at different military bases throughout South Korea for the troops and the families that are stationed there. We were very well received, and we made a lot of people's Christmas more Christmassy. On top of that, we all had a great time, and really got to bond the way only a tour in another country can allow. Korea was an amazing place, one that I am very glad I got to experience.
The trip was anything but smooth, however, and there were not many things that actually went as planned. Thats the way it always is right? You can read about the first major mishaps in our blog, and to briefly sum up the end, I'll just say we all made it home OK! After the last show at Camp Casey in Northern South Korea, we drove back to the hotel and packed all of our gear. Then seven of us went out and played a gig at a local bar called "Woodstock." We were very well received, to say the least. I dont think a lot of those people had ever heard anything like what we played that night. Then bright and early, 6:30 am, we hopped on the bus to take us to the airport. No more airline mishaps, and we were home a quick 25 hours later! With our luggage! We are all resting now, and getting ready for Christmas. Great success! Check out or blogs, pictures, and videos from the trip. Once I compile all of the video footage and pictures from everybody's cameras, we will have more up on this page, so check back in soon!
