Matt Kosma
the rookie
Matt Kosma has been playing the saxophone since he was six years old and has been playing professionally since the age of 21. He has worked in a wide variety of musical situations and is well versed in all styles. He has traveled all over the world and has worked with such well known groups as the Platters, the Temptations and the American Idol winner Fantasia.
Matt's true love however is jazz and he has worked with many fine artists over the years including Greg Hyslop, Melva Houston, The Seth Carper Big Band, Martha Bassett, Matt Kendrick, Allan Neece, Wiley Porter, the late Charles Greene, and many others that you've probably never heard of. He currently leads his own quartet when not working with the Embers.
Matt Kosma plays RPC saxophone mouthpieces.
